January 17 My children's choir starts rehearsing for their March concert. This choir continues to grow and it won't be long before we push the statues off the alter.
   
Feb. 7, 14, 21 & 28 St. Mary's Church for the 10:00 AM. Come in and charge your batteries.
   
New CD news. . .

Heading into the studio to begin work on my next CD, "Sandyland". Wonderful lineup of talent, Rio Clemente on piano, Calvin Jones, bass, Steve Johns, drums, Bill Easley, reeds & flute, Steve Nelson, vibes and Mac Gollehon on trumpet. Expected release date late mid-April. Very happy about this project. Wish me luck...
   
   
Feb 13 Bar 55, for the early show, 6-9. No cover, great munchies and lots of love in the air this night. Bryan Carrott on vibes Ron Sozansky on percussion. Celebrate Valentine's Day with us.
   
Feb 21 Manalapan Library 2-4 a guest performance with the Rio Clemente Quartet. A very nice venue and there is no admission charge.

March 13 Bar 55 with the usual suspects. Just love this room. Same bat time, same bat station.
   
March 21 My darling Children's Choir will be singing their Spring offerings at the 10:00 AM mass at St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Deal.............too good to miss.
   
Mar 22-28 Only tentative, however there may be a trip back to Italy for a little singing on the east coast. Will update as I get confirmations...
   
April 4, 11, 18, 25 Back singing for God with Bob Hazelrig on guitar. Nice way to start the week.
   
Aprl. 10 Bar 55 - With my wonderful trio, Steve Elmer-piano, Desi Norman-vibes and Dan Fabricatore-bass. And of course the inimitable Tara on the bar! Always the 6:00 show and always snacks.

Attillio's Family Tavern in Dover, on E. McFarland St. 7:30-10:00pm 973-328-1100. I'll be singing with the wonderful multi-talented Rio Clemente on piano. The food is beyond good...........the room warm and inviting. If you can, make reservations.........I'm told you might need them.

May 7 The Watchung Arts Center, Stirling Road, Watchung. 908-753-0190. This is part of their Impresario Series and I'll be sharing the stage with Rio Clemente. 8:00-10:00. Again, reservations for this venue are a good idea.
   
May 8 Bar 55 - We'll be celebrating birthdays with Gladstone Trott-piano, Desi Norman-vibes and Mike Carino-bass. This may be a combination CD release party as well. "Sandyland" will be available by then and I'm anxious for you to hear of the music.
   
June 5 The Red Bank Jazz and Blues Festival, in the 5:30-6:30 slot. This year it will be held at the Monmouth Park Racetrack while repairs are made to the Red Bank bulkheads and docks. This promises to be a great venue. Look for my big band on this one...........totally swinging.
   
June 6 The final concert for the season with my ever-growing Children's Choir. 10:00 AM, come out and enjoy these wonderful singers. St. Mary's in Deal.
   
June 13,20,27 Back in my usual spot on the alter giving thanks at the 10:00 AM mass

Feb. 21 The Laurita Winery, in New Egypt, NJ (609-758-8000) is featuring an afternoon of jazz and wine tasting. Music and libations from 1:00-5:00. GladstoneTrott, piano, Desi Norman, vibes and Mike Carino, bass.
   
March 1, 15, 22 & 20 Singing at the 10:00 AM mass at St. Mary's Church, Deal, NJ. Come in for a spiritual lift.
   
March 1 thru 12 Jaunting around Italy for some singing, wine tasting and shopping. On the schedule are stops in Florence to sing at the Open Bar, at the foot of the Ponte Vecchio, the Fiorenze Jazz Club, and the Slowly Bar. I expect to be at Novecento Jazz Club in Venice. Perhaps a little open air vocals in a gondola! Can't wait.
   
March 14 Back at The 55 Bar. Probably have one or two Italian songs in the line-up. Steve Elmer, piano, Dan Fabricatore, bass and Desi Norman, vibes. Don't forget the snacks.
   
March 29 My darling Children's Choir will be singing at the 10:00 AM mass at St. Mary's celebrating Spring. You should try and check this out. So precious.

July 18 The Billion Dollar Big Band at that fabulous Clinton Park, the one with the flying bats and natures perfect backdrop. Start time is around 7:00 and don't forget your blankets and libations.
   
Aug. 2 Warren Park, Woodbridge, 6-8:30 with The Billion Dollar Big Band. So nice to hear all those horns. Bring chairs and whatever else you'd like.

Aug. 9 Spring Lake Park, in South Plainfield, 6:30-8:00. Back swingin' with the Billion Dollar Big Band. Must bring chairs and bug spray is a good idea too.
   
Aug. 12 South Amboy Marine Park, 6:30-8:30 with the Jack Allen Orchestra. A perfectly lovely spot to enjoy outdoor music. Rain location in the high school just prior to the park.
   
Aug. 26 Thompson Park, Jamesburg. 2:00-4:00. More horns and sax's with the Billion Dollar Big Band. These summer concerts help keep the big bands available for everyone to enjoy.

Sept. 5 I'll be with my "little big band" at the Long Branch Jazz & Blues Festival. Our performance time is 5:30-6:30. You can find us at the Cooper Ave/Ocean Ave intersection on the boardwalk. A fabulous location with the beautiful ocean behind us.
   
Sept. 12 The 55 Bar, with Onaje Allan Gumbs on piano, Desi Norman on vibes, Dan Fabricatore on bass. Always 6-9, always goodies, always swinging music.
