"Sandyland"
is a real place, not just a play on words. The 100+ year old farmhouse
that my husband Charlie and I live in was named Sandyland by our
friends. It's a warm and inviting place that inspires fun. We have
swings that our friends always gravitate to. There is a tree house
that can hold six adults and serves as a fun place for cocktails
on a summer night. Getting down, however, takes a bit more care
than climbing up. Our bocce court is a place for some serious night
games and the hoots and hollers can be heard down the block. We
have sanctuaries all around our yard, offering shelter and safety
from the smallest chickadee to the biggest, lumbering groundhog.
All are welcome. Flower and vegetable gardens abound. My 450 pound
candle sculpture is unique and a constantly changing piece of art.
My music, which is also a changing art form, reflects this. Sometimes
it's soft, sometimes hard, but it's always me and it's always fun.
So, welcome to "Sandyland" and I hope
that you enjoy the visit...

P.S. We are pleased to announce that High Note
Records, of Japan, has included Sandy's "Black Coffee"
on their latest compilation of jazz singers, "Jazz for a Rainy
Day". Congratulations Sandy...
